Virtual Marketplace Assister Training Catalog

This is a current list of scheduled and on demand Marketplace Assister trainings. All active assisters have been assigned a Trakstar account. If you do not know your password, click "Forgot password" and follow the steps using the email address you use for assister work. If you have additional questions email cp.marketplace@oregon.gov.

2022 TY2023 On-demand Marketplace Assister Training

This on-demand course contains 12 modules, an exam, and a survey. All need to be completed, and you must get an 80% or higher on the exam to pass this course. This training is intended for assisters that will also be helping people who are not eligible for OHP and are potentially eligible for Marketplace coverage. Even organizations that primarily assist with OHP are required to have at least one person per worksite complete the Marketplace Assister or Marketplace Refresher training in its entirety. If you are planning to take the Marketplace Assister Training, you do not need to also take the Marketplace Overview Training. Training needs to be completed by 10/31/2022.

10/06/22 Virtual Marketplace Assister Training

This is a virtual course consisting of a webinar training, online modules, an online survey, and an online exam. All components need to be completed, and you must get an 80% or higher on the exam to pass this course. The webinar is scheduled for 10/06/22 from 9am -2pm. You must register for this webinar and will receive a link to register in the confirmation email when you enroll in this course. This training is intended for assisters that will also be helping people who are not eligible for OHP and are potentially eligible for Marketplace coverage. Even organizations that primarily assist with OHP are required to have at least one person per worksite complete the Marketplace Assister or Marketplace Refresher training in its entirety. If you are planning to take the Marketplace Assister Training, you do not need to also take the Marketplace Overview Training.


10/10/2022 Virtual Marketplace Assister Training

This is a hybrid course consisting of a scheduled training, online modules, an online survey, and an online exam. All components need to be completed, and you must get an 80% or higher on the exam to pass this course. The scheduled webinar training is: 10/10/22 from 10am – 4pm on TEAMS. A calendar invite will come after you register for this course. This training is intended for assisters that will also be helping people who are not eligible for OHP and are potentially eligible for Marketplace coverage. Even organizations that primarily assist with OHP are required to have at least one person per worksite complete the Marketplace Assister training in its entirety. The in-person Assister training is about 5 hours long including breaks. The online modules will take less than an hour to complete. If you are planning to take the Marketplace Assister Training, you do not need to also take the Marketplace Overview Training.
